Here are a number of tips below that tie in with our affiliate system, you can learn quickly how to get up and running and make sure you are ready to start promoting effectively.

TIPS

• Use your discount code when posting to Instagram or Facebook.
  By simply adding the code in the caption of your pics, or including it on your story, your audience and fans can get a little boost of motivation towards grabbing some Future gear. 
  
  
• Include @futurekimonos Athlete, in your bio beside your discount code.
  When people follow you, its becoming more common for visitors to check out the sponsor deals you can offer them. In your bio is the first place a new fan will stop 
  
  
• Include your discount code in a URL.
  Perfect for swipe ups so your referrals don't need to add the code to the checkout. The code is automatically applied when you add it to the end of this URL. • Promote new gear when we promote new gear. 
  This is super beneficial for you to maximize your efforts. Get on the hype train with us as we spend a decent amount of money and time on making awesome gear and likewise we put equal effort into promoting it. So when something new comes out, jump on it with confidence that we are all pushing out something great together.
  
  
• Post regularly!
  One of the most important things when promoting your code or referral link is to post regularly. Although it helps, just having the link or the code sitting in your bio doesn't automatically bring sales in for you. Be active, be consistent and be an advocate that people will learn to turn to when they are looking for their next Future purchase. 
  
  
• Wear Future gear during events and training.
  We hear so often, "I saw such and such wearing that rash guard and I just had to get one". Be the ambassador for Future and people will ask you how to get gear like yours. Showcase it every chance you get and watch how fast referrals will start coming to you.

Q. What's my discount code?
A. Your discount code is created by you when you sign up. You can find it on your Dashboard. It's recommended that you make it something easy to remember, so customers can easily use it at checkout when shopping on our site. eg. GORDON15 If you haven't got a discount code yet, contact us via Messages.

Q. What's the difference between a discount code and referral link?
A. Discount codes are an incentive to your network to shop with Future. They can use the code at checkout to save 15% of their total purchase. Our system can track your referrals via this discount code and attribute those sales to your monthly commission. A referral link also tracks the same way but doesn't apply a discount code. The referral link is great for affiliates with blogs or banners where they want to direct a lot of traffic to our store, whereas the discount code is much more personal and might be better suited for social media.

Q. Can I use my own discount code?
A. Absolutely! Part of the perks of being a Future Athlete is access to all the gear at a discounted price. You are welcome to use your own discount code, which will not only offer you 15% discount on your order, but also pay out a 15% commission as a rebate at the end of the monthly period. 

Q. How do I get paid?
A. We pay out commissions via PayPal, so you will need to register for a PayPal account if you do not have one via this link: https://www.paypal.com/us/welcome/signup/

Q. So now do I get sponsored gear?
A. Not necessarily. Future Kimonos will evaluate all candidates for promotional product on a case-by-case basis. All affiliates can receive commission as a reward for promoting Future Kimonos.

Q. So how can I get free Future Kimonos gear?
A. Actually if you prefer to receive gear, we can issue commission in the form of store gift cards at 2 to 1. For example, if your commission is $100, you can receive $200 worth of gift cards to use at FutureKimonos.com instead of receiving a commission payout. Just email us if you prefer to do this via contact@ftu.re or send a message via the Messages tab in your Dashboard.

Q. When do I get paid?
A. All affiliates are paid out within 30 days of the previous month ending.

Q. I live outside of the U.S. or Canada. Can I still apply?
A. Sure can, so long as you are able to connect via PayPal you are good to go.

Q. What does it cost to join?
A. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. The Future Athlete Affiliate Program is free to join, and can be cancelled at any time.

Q. Can my school or academy join the affiliate program?
A. Sure can, so you should let us know during the application how many students you have, we may have a tailored option for you that suits better. 

Q. How can I keep track of my sales and commissions?
A. You actually have a live dashboard of all your details and sales and can see reporting of each referral and commission. 

Q. What do you mean by affiliate benefits?
A. Affiliate benefits include, but are not limited to, promotional product for giveaways, priority social promotion, tickets to events and more!
